DeBugReBoot is a Toronto-based art collective exploring the entanglements of technology, media, and society through interactive installations and experimental storytelling. Blending video, computer science, and new media art, the collective creates works that interrogate the social and emotional impact of our increasingly digitized world.
Formed by artist-researcher Nikole Hidalgo McGregor, a PhD candidate in Cinema Studies and multidisciplinary media artist, and Carlos McGregor, an MSc with expertise in mixed reality and social engagement, DeBugReBoot bridges artistic and technical perspectives to build immersive, critically reflective environments.
Their collaborative work has been presented at Xpace Cultural Centre, The Dragon Academy, and Nuit Blanche Toronto, among other venues.
