RotoJam is a unique collective of rotoscoping animators who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of their craft. Led by the animator Ashley Lo Russo, each member of the collective works independently on their own selected portion of a short clip, infusing it with their own artistic vision and style. Once completed, the individual pieces are seamlessly edited together by Lo Russo to create a cohesive and dynamic final product that showcases the creativity and innovation of each individual animator.
As a member of RotoJam, I am excited to share my contributions to this collaborative project. Through my work, I aimed to explore new ways of using rotoscoping to create visually stunning and engaging animations. By carefully tracing over live-action footage frame by frame, I was able to bring a new level of realism and fluidity to my animations.
The clips I have created as part of the RotoJam collective are a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity. By joining forces with other talented animators, I have been able to expand my skills and explore new avenues of artistic expression. I hope that viewers will enjoy these clips and appreciate the dedication and passion that went into creating them.
